The main purpose of the discipline is to cultivate students’ creative approach to the design of biomedical electronic devices. The students learn basics of ergonomic design, technical requirements of aesthetics and physiological characteristics of the human as an operator, the principles and foundations of shape-forming technology and technology of manufacturing. The practical course of the educational process focused on the acquisition of experience in the use of computer tools for the design and visualization of products and implementation of sketching findings as a phase of industrial products creation. During the course students acquire skills to work in solid modeling package SolidWorks, add-ins for machining automation SolidCam and software for models visualization KeyShot.
