Academic discipline "Electronic devices" provides training for technicians in the field of electronics and communications. In connection with the rapid development of electronic devices and systems urgent for students is studying physical bases of operation, principle and structure of various kinds of electronic devices; their properties, possibility of using both as a separate element base of electronic devices, and as part of integrated circuits. The aim of the discipline is to prepare students for the challenges associated with the rational choice of the element base in the development of electronic and telecommunication equipment, skilled operation of electronic equipment, the acquisition of skills of working with electronic devices and microelectronic products. The purpose of discipline is to provide students the basic theoretical competence in the various aspects of electronic devices functioning. The discipline "Electronic devices" is based on the relevant sections of courses in mathematics, physics and the theory of electrical circuits. It is the base for such disciplines as "Microelectronics", "Analog and digital electronics," "Functional micro- and nanoelectronics," "Physical and Theoretical bases of designing of RA" and many others.
