The academic discipline is devoted to teaching students the principles of development of both software and hardware for microprocessors systems of various levels. Performing the operational functions of these systems is provided by uniting both hardware and software functions for realization of data processing and external devices control (information input and output). In the teaching process the students obtain the habits of using the system software of PC as well as cross compilers to develop the computer code for embedded microcontrollers. Assembler programming language is taken as basic mean. It needs the thorough study of machine-operation code for prescribed microprocessors.
