Summary: The work is devoted to study the main parameters of single-mode optical fiber, in particular, calculate chromatic dispersion for different concentrations of impurities in the materials of the core and shell. The work consists of four sections. Analyzed the main elechrominance characteristics of optical fibers as physical sulphurdovima of information transfer.
