Subject of research — narrowband filters based on EC-inhomogeneities. Purpose of work — the usage of three-dimensional electromagnetocrystalline inhomogeneities in the structure of narrowband filters of Wi-Fi range. Research methods — the method of nonuniform transmission line, the method of finite integrals. In our work we analyzed such aspects as the traditional and modern microstrip solutions that improve the characteristics of frequency-selective microstrip devices, including the inhomogeneity in the ground layer (defected ground structure, DGS) and the conductor layer (defected microstrip structure, DMS). Special attention was paid to periodic microstrip radio structures. We also examined the building of the narrow-band filters based on these technologies. In our research we carried out the analysis of Wi-Fi technology and requirements for the filters construction in this range according to the international standards and typical analogs of Wi-Fi range filters. A single and three-dimensional computer models of narrow band filters based on Fabry-Pero models using EC-inhomogeneities were devised and their properties in a number of computer experiments were investigated. We analyzed the impact of the dependence of the effective dielectric constant of the material basis on the filter characteristics and showed the importance of its incorporation. The impact on the raid phases during races impedances in the structures of EC-filters was also studied and taken into consideration. The results can be used for the further scientific research and educational process in educational institutions of Ukraine.
